Taste mountain tea and brew coffee while watching the sunset on the snow-white dunes of the high-mountain desert.

Day 1. Islamabad - Skardu - Shigar Meet the group in Islamabad. Morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu (7-8 am). In good weather, during the flight we have chance to see the eight-thousanders K2, Broad Peak, Nanga Parbat, the Himalayan and Karakoram ranges. A trip to the Shigar Valley, famous not only for its breathtaking views, but also for its ancient mosques. On the way back we will take a ride to the sand dunes of the cold desert of Safaraga. Return to the hotel. Night in Skardu (altitude 2100m).
!IMPORTANT: In case of Skardu flight cancellation, we will travel to north by land. With an overnight stay in the city of Besham/Chilas
Day 2. Skardu - Hunza Following the picturesque mountain road along the Indus River we move to the center of the Hunza Valley, visit Rakaposhi viewpoints (7788m), the collision point of the continental plates and the old Silk Road. We stop to taste delicious traditional Hunza meat pie Shapshoro in local cafe with a view of the majestic Mount Rakaposhi 7788m. We spend the sunset at the Eagle's Nest view point, which offers views of three seven-thousanders and the Hunza Valley. Night in Aliabad.
Day 3. Rakaposhi - Karimabad Early in the morning following steep mountain road by 4x4 cars we head to the edge of the glacier and the best viewpoint of the Rakaposhi - Diran mountain range (7788m), where we drink hot tea with traditional bread, enjoying the view of two seven-thousanders and epic Minapin glacier. For lunch, we will stop at a guesthouse with a cherry orchard, which belongs to a descendant of the royal family Nagar, meet the owners and taste the traditional gorkun dish, prepared according to a unique recipe in stone pots, just like hundreds of years ago. Afternoon we return to Karimabad, visit the forts Baltit (700 years old) and Altit (1300 years old), see how the rulers of Hunza lived, and look into ancient settlements that are about a thousand years old. Night in Aliabad.
Day 4. Upper Hunza: Attabad - Passu Our path goes north to the azure Attabad lake and upper Hunza, Gojal region. In 2010, a rock collapsed onto the Karakoram Highway and river. As a result of the landslide, a beautiful mountain lake with turquoise water was formed. We will have time to take a boat ride along the rocky shores. Further towards the Chinese border along the most beautiful part of the Karakoram Highway, we will stop at numerous view points, photograph blooming apricot orchards, see the hallmark of Hunza - the Passu Cones rock, and walk along the famous Husseini and Passu suspension bridges. Night in Passu.
Day 5. Passu Glacier - Morkhun - Gilgit After breakfast we will take a walk to the Passu glacier. For lunch we move to the quiet village of Morkhun, we will visit the local residents, the wakhan people. In the evening we say goodbye to Hunza and return to Gilgit along the Karakoram Highway. Night in Gilgit.
Day 6. Islamabad - Peshawar Morning flight to Islamabad. Transfer to Peshawar (3 hours). We discover the old city, visit the famous markets: Qissa Khwani, Meena Bazaar, truck decoration workshops and the weapons market. Visit the old houses where local residents still live. In the evening we will taste Kabuli pulao and meat dishes for which Peshawar is so famous. Night in Peshawar. Hotel Roomy Peshawar or similar
Day 7. Peshawar - Takht-i-Bahi In the morning we will continue to explore Peshawar, its mosques and museums. After lunch we return to Islamabad. On the way we will stop at a Buddhist monastery complex of the 1st century. BC uh, Takht-i-Bahi. Night in Islamabad
Day 8. Islamabad Reserve day in Islamabad. Visit Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, Raja Bazar in Rawalpindi. Night in Islamabad.
Day 9. Flight home.
